The Total Healing Benefits of Craniosacral Therapy
Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM – The central nervous system has influence over many other body systems and structures. No system has a deeper impact on the central nervous system than the craniosacral system – the soft tissues and fluid that protect the brain and spinal cord.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
The stresses of the day, big and small, are absorbed by the body. Although the body is resilient, our bodies can only handle so much tension before tissues begin to tighten and potentially affect the brain and spinal cord. CST releases tensions to allow the body to relax and self-correct, using gentle, light touch. By freeing the nervous system to perform at its best CST naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens resistance to disease and enhances health and well-being. It is effective for a wide range of health problems associated with pain and dysfunction including headaches, chronic pain, learning disabilities/ADD/Autism, connective tissue disorders and autoimmune conditions.
