Here’s an easy and fun dinner recipe! What kid doesn’t love red spaghetti!
Ingredients:
1tbs olive oil
1lb ground beef
1 package Simply Organic Taco Seasoning
1 tbs tomato paste
8oz Red Lentil Spaghetti– This spaghetti is low-fat, loaded with plant-based protein and high fiber.
1 cup Shredded mozzarella and cheddar
1 diced roma Tomato
Directions:
Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium high heat. Cook ground beef until crumbled and browned. Add Taco seasoning mix. Drain fat from pan.
Add spaghetti and 3 cups of water. Bring to boil then cover and reduce heat to simmer until pasta is cooked, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat, add cheese and cover.
When cheese has melted, garnish with fresh tomato. If your child likes lots of flavor, add cilantro or fresh herbs.
This recipe works well with chicken, pork, turkey or just veggies!
