Join us for an introduction to Qigong, the ancient mind/body/spirit practice rooted in Chinese Medicine (like Acupuncture and Energy Medicine). Similar to Tai Chi, but with more emphasis on the meridians & health practices of building Qi.

“Qi” (pronounced “chee”) means vital life force energy

“Gong” means to cultivate

In this class, you will learn simple qigong exercises, visualization, breathwork, and meditation to increase vital energy, regulate your nervous system, boost immunity, reduce pain, increase lymphatic flow, and overall and well-being. Based on the 5 Elements of Chinese Medicine, class can be done standing or seated in a chair.

*No prior experience is needed. All levels of fitness are welcome.

Renée is a certified 25-hour Qigong Instructor in the American Dragon Gate lineage, and also a ZY Qigong Level 1 Certified Instructor under Master Ming Tang Xu. She has been studying Qigong since 2010 and has been teaching Yoga since 2005.
