About the Workshop
In this workshop, participants will learn simple Qigong exercises, visualization techniques, breathwork, and meditation practices designed to increase vital energy and support overall well-being.

Based on the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this workshop will explore practices associated with the Summer season and the element of Fire. Participants will also learn about seasonal foods, self-care practices, and Qigong techniques that can help maintain wellness throughout the summer months.
What Does Qigong Mean?
The word “Qi” (pronounced “chee”) refers to vital life force energy.
The word “Gong” means to cultivate.
Together, Qigong is the practice of cultivating and strengthening the body’s vital energy.
Meet Your Instructor
The workshop will be led by Renée Bogard, Certified Qigong & Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master.
Renée is a certified 275-hour Qigong Instructor through the American Dragon Gate Lineage and is also a Certified ZY Qigong Level 1 Instructor under Master Xu Ming Tang. She has been studying Qigong since 2010 and teaching Yoga since 2005.

Following the workshop, participants are invited to gather in the Georgetown Eatery for tea, juice, or a smoothie (food and beverages not included in workshop cost).
No prior experience is necessary. All fitness levels are welcome.
