GLEANERS FOOD BANK DRIVE
Did you know that so many people are unemployed that food banks are not able to keep up with the demand and are experiencing a major food shortage? Many people, especially children, are going to bed hungry. Please consider donating to our Gleaner’s Food Bank Drive. Buy an extra non-perishable item or two* when you shop and drop off in the box on your way out. Thank you for your kindness and support for those in need.
*Especially needed are canned proteins, nut butters, canned foods (esp. vegetables), boxed foods.
About Gleaners: “Gleaners was founded in 1980 by a group of concerned citizens who felt strongly that no one should go hungry. Since that time, we have distributed more than 520 million pounds of food and critical grocery through a committed network of more than 550 food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, and community partners throughout our 21-county service area.”
