Apple cider vinegar has been a staple for many people for many years. Made popular by Paul Bragg, a pioneer in the health food industry and health advocate, apple cider vinegar is useful for cooking, baking, beauty, and health.

Bragg wrote a very popular book titled Apple Cider Vinegar: Miracle Health System. For many years, apple cider vinegar was best known as an aid for weight loss and a general health tonic.

Did you know it can help reduce abdominal fat around the belly? It can also lower triglycerides, improve insulin sensitivity, and increase glycogen storage. It has distinct metabolic actions that can help boost your metabolism.

Kidney stones may be prevented by consuming apple cider vinegar. It is estimated that taking one to two tablespoons daily cuts kidney stone risk by more than 60%.

Lowered blood sugar levels may be achieved, according to an eight-week study targeting people with type 2 diabetes. The study also showed a reduction in triglycerides of more than 30%. The dosage used in the study was six teaspoons per day.

Recent research has shown that apple cider vinegar lowers blood pressure, improves gut health, and suppresses gut inflammation. Apple cider vinegar may also help get rid of or dissolve age spots when applied topically. Try it on psoriasis plaque spots as well.

Because apple cider vinegar is acidic, start gradually by drinking an ounce or less mixed in water. Increase to one or two ounces daily if tolerated. If you have acid reflux or a hiatal hernia, it is best to avoid cider vinegar.

We carry Bragg’s apple cider vinegar in 16oz and 32oz sizes, along with the Cadia brand of ACV in our grocery department.
