Cannabis from marijuana is familiar to all, but are you aware of the medicinal benefits of cannabis from agricultural hemp? Both types are cannabis sativa, yet medical marijuana is legal in about 20 states (not in Indiana), while cannabis from agricultural hemp is legal in all 50 states (hopefully, one day, common sense prevails and it all becomes legal).
The primary difference between the two is that cannabis from hemp contains only trace amounts of THC—the compound in marijuana that has psychoactive properties, while containing high amounts of CBD (cannabinoid); in contrast, cannabis from marijuana has high amounts of THC and low levels of CBD in most cases.
If you or anyone you know has a neurological issue (seizures, convulsions, etc.), anxiety, or cancer it will be worth becoming educated on cannabis. Both have beneficial medicinal properties which is why I want you to know about this important herb.
Let’s focus on just CBD from hemp—the product is legal, it is safe.
Now that CBD oil from hemp is available, it is time to put away our negative perceptions that we may have on cannabis and become open minded to the benefits it offers.
When I learned that we all have cannabinoid receptor sites in our body (primarily in the brain), I was convinced that it has great potential of improving our health and lives. Taking CBD oil is like providing a key to unlock these cannabinoid receptor sites and help us enhance our health and wellbeing.
We are still learning much about the use and benefits of cannabis from hemp, and if you attended our lecture in early May and heard Stuart speak about it, you already know some of the benefits. That was probably THE best lecture we have ever held at Georgetown. If you have any questions about the use and benefit of cannabis from hemp, please ask me or our staff in Natural Living—we have excellent anecdotal testimonies to share too.
We carry a wide variety of CBD oil products by CVSciences which we will be glad to tell you about.
